Apple’s 2018 iPad Pro is LEAKED days before the official launch event

There’s just one week to go before Apple ’s 2018 event, and in the run-up, several rumours have been circulating about what the firm might unveil.

In the latest leak, an image of the next iPad Pro has surfaced.

OnLeaks, a reputable leaker, posted an image of the alleged ‘Apple iPad Pro 12.9 (2018)’ on My Smart Price- and it looks very different to previous models.

The images suggest the 2018 iPad Pro may ditch the home button in favour of a TrueDepth camera, allowing users to unlock their device using Face ID.

And while there appears to be a charging port at the bottom of the device, the headphone jack has been scrapped.

Alongside the volume buttons on the side of the iPad is a new button – although OnLeaks is unsure what this is for.

The iPad Pro is said to come in two sizes – a 12.9-inch version costing £700, and a 10.5-inch version costing £600.

While Apple is yet to confirm any of the rumours, thankfully we don’t have long to find out if they’re true.

The Apple event will take place on September 12. Mirror Online will be covering the event live, so make sure you check in!
